Whipped coffee, banana bread and baked feta pasta — if there’s one thing social media loves, it’s a viral recipe. The latest culprit catching attention? Marianna Hewitt’s ‘Coconut Cloud’ smoothie from Erewhon.

If those two names sounds familiar, it’s because Erewhon is a Los Angeles-based supermarket frequented by your favourite celebs (think Hailey Bieber regularly stopping in for her favourite drink), and Hewitt is the famous face behind cult skincare brand, Summer Fridays.

The pair joined forces to bring the blue smoothie to life. It’s a pretty simple mix, that has captured the Internet’s attention thanks to its blue-swirl finish. It’s made up of some pretty simple ingredients too, so you can recreate it at home, including almond milk, coconut cream, collagen powder, avocado, banana, and spirulina (which gives it that famous blue colour).

The team at PEARL by Par Olive took it into their own hands to create the smoothie sensation, and shared how you can bring it to life from your very own kitchen.

Take a look at how to make the Coconut Cloud Smoothie.

2 tbsp Coconut yoghurt
1 tsp Blue
Spirulina
1 Cup almond milk
1 Cup ice
1 Frozen banana
2 tsp PEARL Marine Collagen
1 tsp Almond butter
¼ Avocado
½ tsp Vanilla essence

The method is simple. In the bottom of your glass place 2 tbsp of coconut yogurt and sprinkle half of the blue spirulina and set aside.

In a blender, add your almond milk, ice, frozen banana, PEARL marine collagen, almond butter, avocado, vanilla essence and the remainder of your blue spirulina, blend until smooth.

Pour into your prepared glass and enjoy!
